Internal And External Proposal

Provide protection

Provide protection

To function well, the body needs many kinds of vitamins and minerals. The demand for these substances is reduced to small numbers: the daily requirement amounts to about 7 g of minerals and about a tenth of a gram of vitamins. It should be noted that the requirement does not correspond to the amount assumed, since this, in large part, is lost in the process of assimilation and elimination of intestinal or destroyed in chemical processes that occur during digestion or before cooking. In addition, the needs are more theoretical than real, because a precise calculation can be seen only from an examination of the diet in cases of proven failure. The role is nevertheless essential in all chemical processes and provide vital protection against infection and disease.
The best source of vitamins and minerals is made from fruits and vegetables, dairy products, cereals, meat, eggs and fish. Many of these nutrients dissolve in water or are destroyed by excess heat, and it is therefore important to use appropriate methods of cooking and eating more fruit and raw salads possible. Almost all vegetables can be eaten raw: broccoli cut very thin, spinach, peas, carrots, cabbage and mushrooms can garnish salads.
boiled vegetables lose much of their nutritional value and therefore it is advisable to cook by steaming, frying or cooking them very lightly in the oven. If you want to boil the vegetables, add them when the water is already boiling, so as to leave it to soak for as short as possible. Use water from cooking vegetables, it contains some nutrients, such as soup to be eaten as such or by used for the preparation of other dishes.
Reduce or eliminate salt in cooking. Most people assume a greater amount of salt needs and those suffering from hypertension should avoid it almost completely. The salt serves to retain fluid and waste substances in the body. Use instead of salt natural flavorings such as garlic, spices, fresh black pepper or lemon juice. The habit of salt will disappear soon, but if you can not give it up, try the sea salt.
Vitamins and minerals are needed by the body in complex combinations, but anyone who takes a balanced and varied diet, consisting of whole foods, fruits and vegetables, will a sufficient intake of these substances. In the absence of disease, only rarely has the need to take supplements of vitamins or minerals. See if your doctor stating your usual diet.
